CARBON FIBER YARN (RAYON BASED)
- Made from rayon precursor: viscose technical yarn by a special technology;
- Linear density of a filament is 0.03-0.06 tex.
PROPERTIES
- Stability in non-oxygen medium 3000°C max;
- Stability in oxidizing medium 400-450°C max;
- Insensitivity to electromagnetic, nuclear and space radiation;
- Carbon content 99,9%;
- Filament Tensile Strength 1.2 - 1.5 GPa;
- Tensile Modulus 60 GPa max;
- High elasticity;
- High chemical resistance to attacks by acids, alkali, solvents at high temperatures;
- Possibility of processing on the textile equipment.
APPLICATION
- Packing;
- Multi-structures of reinforcement for special purposes;
- Cord, electrical conductor, carbon-carbon composites, carbon ceramics;
- In electronics to substitute Cu & Ni-Cr alloys;
- Medicine: traumatic surgery;
- HS-215 is sewing yarn.
